About

A Story of Design and Creativity

“The thing is to become a master and in your old age to acquire the courage to do what children did when they knew nothing.”
― Ernest Hemingway

The Story Begins

My design work began in my grandparents’ basement building complex metropolises on a plywood board, balanced on a large rubber ball, placed on top of the old Lincoln Logs cylindrical box.

Balance and composition were as essential to a five-year-old boy’s playtime as they are in a design professional’s portfolio, learning the weight of each element and executing the arrangement to prevent design disasters.

30 yrs. Experience

My career path has included work as a fine artist, performance art producer, a magazine publisher, and printer. In the early 90’s with the computer taking over the desktop, my skills were combined in the field of interactive multimedia and eLearning. I love the hands-on, “dirty work” of design taking a creative direction that produces engaging graphic design with effective business solutions.

The Next Level

Technology changes and our jobs change with it. I look forward to the challenge of consistently creating people-oriented solutions. Solutions we can use, learn from and enjoy.

Our Name

Many people ask about our name. Why 22 29? So here is where we found it. It comes from the Old Testament book of Proverbs 22:29 (chapter 22, verse 29) which says, “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.” 22 29 because we believe God has gifted each one of us with the skills we have in work and life. And we are to use those skills to serve one another and contribute to each others’ success and not to squander what we have been given.
